Enjoying Nami Island

Hey everyone, Shakira is back with adventurers stories. Here in South Korea we're having our Chuseok break. Which is also known as Korean Thanksgiving. So my family decided to have a trip to Nami Island. From my place to Nami Island takes about 2 hours with a little traffic jam. As we arrive there my parents and I were very hungry so we ate lunch at Nami-Ok. At that restaurant, there are several menu, but all of them sells something stir-fry or chicken ribs. My family chose chicken ribs because he chicken is halal and we were curious about the taste. After we stir and cook the food, it look really delicious but spicy too. In my opinion it was not bad, after all I was hungry so I had a big appetite. There are other restaurants, rather than Nami-Ok.

We need to use a ferry before going to Nami Island. But before that, we have to get tickets first. There are 2 different tickets for foreigners and local Korean people. It's 8,000₩ for adults foreigners, and 4,000₩ for children foreigners. But for local Korean people, it's 10,000₩ for adults, and 5,000₩ for children. When you arrive at Nami Island, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, breezy air, and most of all wild animals! You can see a lot of squirrels, but seldom rabbits. Anyways, along your trip inside Nami Island you can either walk, ride a train, ride a car, or ride a bike

There are lots of activities for kids and also adults. We can create our own pottery, or even coloring mugs. You can also enjoy the cafés there. For children interest they can play at the playground. There is also a hotel at Nami Island if you would like to have a stay. From all of the above, I think Nami Island is place where it's an unforgettable memory.

This is the ferry that takes to Nami Island.

This is the halal dak galbi that I ate.
